What are you voting for?

Mayor

Leads the city as a whole, chairs council and helps set citywide priorities. Everyone in Windsor votes for one mayor.

Councillor

Represents one of Windsor's 10 wards and votes on council decisions like the budget and local rules. You vote for one councillor in your ward.

Most decisions involve council working with City staff and budgets, and sometimes with the provincial or federal government. One person rarely decides alone.
